How Many NIAT Campuses Are There in India?

NIAT does not operate as a university or college with its own independent campuses. NIAT is an upskilling program by NxtWave, offered at Training Centres provided in the space of the collaborating universities and institutions.

NIAT’s upskilling program is offered at 35+ institutions across 15 cities in India. The directory currently lists participating institutions across states and regions including Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Delhi NCR, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Odisha.

Therefore, “NIAT campuses in India,” means NIAT collaborating institutions or locations where the NIAT upskilling program is offered.

Which Cities Have NIAT Centres?

NIAT upskilling program is available across 15 cities. Some of the locations are:

• Hyderabad

• Bengaluru

NIAT Collaborating Universities and Institutions in India

The following list reflects the institutions currently displayed in NIAT's official collaborating-institutions directory. Because the directory is intake-dependent, admission status and availability can change.

Is the NIAT Campus the Same as the University Campus?

The NIAT upskilling program is offered at or through the collaborating institution. Therefore, students should distinguish between:

University campus: The physical campus and facilities provided by the university or institution.

NIAT upskilling: The separate skill-building program delivered through the collaborating institution.

Does Every NIAT Location Offer the Same University Degree?

Yes. All the UGC approved collaborating universities with NIAT give the same BTech degree. However, the NIAT gives the IRC a completion of 4 years. The university fee can vary from one location to another but the BTech degree remains the same. However, students should always check these before taking admission to any Collaborating Universities of NIAT:

• The degree structure

• The fees

• Campus facilities

• Admission requirements

• Location-specific opportunities

How Should Students Choose a NIAT Location?

Choosing a NIAT location involves more than finding the nearest city or campus. Since NIAT works with different universities across cities and regions, students should evaluate the collaborating university, eligibility, total cost, B.Tech program, campus facilities and learning experience at each location. The university handles the degree and its admission requirements, while NIAT provides the applicable upskilling component. A location-wise comparison can therefore help students identify an option that fits their academic, financial and practical requirements.

Can Students Choose Any NIAT Campus?

Students should not assume that completing NIAT enrollment automatically gives them admission to any collaborating university. University admission remains subject to the eligibility criteria and admission policy of the respective university.

NIAT is not a degree-awarding body, and admission into the universities where its upskilling program is offered is decided by the respective university. Therefore, students should check the availability, eligibility and admission process for the specific location and university they are interested in.

Conclusion

NIAT's upskilling program is currently offered at 35+ collaborating institutions across 15 cities in India. However, calling these “NIAT campuses” can be misleading as it is an upskilling program by NxtWave, not a university or college with its own degree-awarding campuses. The program is offered through collaborating universities and institutions.

Students should specifically check the collaborating university, degree program, admission eligibility, total cost, campus facilities, location and NIAT upskilling offering should be checked before making a decision.
