The Onboarding Kit – The First Step into the NIAT Journey

f there is one event that perfectly captures the spirit of student life at NIAT × NSRIT, it is the Survival & Food Fest. A unique blend of creativity, teamwork, business skills, and delicious food, the fest transforms an ordinary day on campus into an unforgettable celebration.

The excitement begins long before the event itself. Students brainstorm ideas, design themes, plan menus, and prepare their stalls with enthusiasm. Every team competes not only to serve the best food but also to attract the most visitors through creativity, presentation, and innovation.

On the day of the fest, the campus comes alive with colorful stalls, tempting aromas, and energetic crowds. From spicy snacks and refreshing drinks to homemade specialties, every stall offers something unique. Students eagerly move from one stall to another, tasting different dishes and supporting their friends' efforts.

What makes the event truly special is the "survival" challenge behind it. Teams must manage resources, work under pressure, solve unexpected problems, and make quick decisions. It is a practical lesson in teamwork, leadership, communication, and entrepreneurship—all hidden within a fun-filled event.

The fest is also a celebration of friendship and collaboration. Students spend hours working together, sharing responsibilities, and turning simple ideas into successful experiences. The laughter, excitement, and friendly competition create memories that remain long after the event ends.

Beyond the food and festivities, the Survival & Food Fest teaches valuable life skills. It shows students the importance of planning, teamwork, creativity, and perseverance while giving them an opportunity to showcase their talents outside the classroom.

At NIAT × NSRIT, the Survival & Food Fest is more than just an event—it is an experience that brings people together, creates lasting memories, and reminds everyone that some of the best lessons in life are learned while having fun.
