One thing I understood during my first few months at NIAT is that college life here is never only about studies or only about fun. It honestly feels like stress, growth, pressure, excitement, and enjoyment are all happening together at the same time.
Almost every day at NIAT feels busy in some way. There are regular NSRIT classes, NIAT technology sessions, assignments, presentations, projects, and activities happening continuously. In the beginning, managing everything felt very difficult because the workload was much higher than I expected.
Sometimes I used to wonder how people were handling both regular academics and industry-focused learning together. There were days when assignments and deadlines piled up together, making the entire week stressful. But slowly, I realized everyone around me was facing the same pressure.
What made things easier was the atmosphere and the people around me. My friend circle — Surya, Azam, Sawith Varma, Monica, and Vishali — became one of the biggest reasons college life stayed enjoyable even during stressful times. Sometimes one random joke during class was enough to reduce the tension of an entire day.
The funniest thing about college life is that even stressful moments somehow become memories later. Group discussions before submissions, confusion during presentations, and last-minute preparation sessions slowly became part of daily life.
At the same time, I could also clearly see my personal growth happening. Earlier, I used to hesitate while speaking publicly or participating in activities. But after joining NIAT, things slowly started changing because students here are constantly encouraged to interact, present, participate, and improve themselves.
One major moment that boosted my confidence was anchoring during our fresher’s event “Starlight 2025.” Even though there was a lot of backstage mess and pressure during the event, standing on stage and speaking confidently in front of everyone felt like a completely different experience for me.
Another thing that makes NIAT unique is the student mindset. Most students here are very active, tech-focused, and growth-oriented. Even normal conversations often turn into discussions about coding, projects, AI, startups, internships, or future plans. That environment naturally motivates everyone to improve faster.
Of course, the pressure here is real too. Balancing traditional academic systems with modern industry learning sometimes feels exhausting. There are moments when students feel mentally tired because of the continuous workload.
But honestly, that same pressure is also what pushes students to grow faster. Looking back now, I can clearly see how much my confidence, communication, technical knowledge, and mindset have changed within just one year.
For me, NIAT life feels like a mixture of chaos and growth happening together every single day. It is stressful, fast, competitive, fun, and unforgettable at the same time — and that is exactly what makes the journey special.
