The Friend Who Corrected You Instead of Praising You

Most people enjoy hearing compliments.

"You did great."
"Everything is perfect."
"Keep going."

But there is one type of friend who is even more valuable.

The friend who tells you when you're wrong.

The friend who points out mistakes in your project, presentation, or decisions. At first, their honesty may feel uncomfortable. But later, you realize they helped you improve.

Fake friends protect your feelings. Real friends protect your future.

Not every correction is criticism. Sometimes it is care in disguise.

"The friend who helps you improve is worth more than the friend who only applauds."
