Connecting Knowledge With Action
A project makes concepts practical. Problems appear, errors need investigating and the first approach may not work. That process creates opportunities to learn through decisions rather than only through explanation.
A piece of work also gives students something concrete to discuss: the problem, their contribution, the choices they made and what they would change.
My Ongoing AI Project
I have been working on an AI-powered infrastructure monitoring and failure prediction project. It involves research, technical development and continuous improvement.
The challenges are part of its value to me. Each one creates a reason to investigate, revise an approach or learn something outside my existing understanding.
Learning With the Gen AI Club

What Repeated Attempts Taught Me
The BRAVE Competition gave me a similar experience of learning through practice. Nearly 15 unsuccessful business negotiations came before success on the 16th attempt.
Each attempt offered feedback. Communication improved through doing the work, reflecting and trying again. I see a similar pattern in project development: progress depends on the response to a setback as much as on the original idea.
Discovering Interests and Building Confidence
Projects create space to explore. Working through an idea can reveal an interest in AI, entrepreneurship, design or another field. Completing work can also make ability feel more tangible.
Managing deadlines and uncertainty gives the experience another practical dimension. The work requires both initiative and follow-through.
Why I Value Both Projects and Marks
I do not see academic learning as something to discard. Projects help me connect it with action. What stays with me is the problem I worked through, the people I collaborated with and the confidence that developed as I learned to make something work.
