NIAT Chaitanya Deemed to be University Hexaverse Sports Event: Two Days of House Competition & Trophy Ceremony

The Hexaverse Sports Event happened on March 12 and 13 at NIAT Chaitanya Deemed to be University. Two full days. Six house groups. The kind of event where everyone is either competing or screaming from the sidelines -- there is no in-between.

How It Was Organized

The college divided us into six houses: Himadri, Agni, Prithvi, Samudhra, Vajra, and Vayu. Each house got its own identity and students were proud to represent theirs. The college management brought in bouncers and security staff -- not to be intimidating, but to keep things safe and organized during the intensity.

Day 1: On Campus

Thursday started on the college grounds with basketball and badminton. The energy was immediate. People were actually playing like they cared, like their house reputation was on the line. Spectators were loud. The courts were packed. No one was half-hearted about it.

Day 2: Off Campus

Friday moved the event to PMR Cricket County, away from campus. That shift changed the vibe a bit -- more space, more room for bigger games. Cricket came first, then kabaddi, volleyball, throwball, athletics, kho-kho, and more. By 5 PM everything was done.

The energy never dipped. Not in the heat, not by day two. People showed up for their house.

The Results

Agni took first place. Himadri came in second. The trophy ceremony happened after all the competitions wrapped. And then -- this is the part that made it feel less like a tournament and more like an actual college memory -- there was music, dancing, celebration. Everyone together, not just the winning house.

Hexaverse was worth the two days. It was the kind of event that actually brought people together, not just for competition but for the experience of being on the same side as your house. That matters more than the trophy.
