A New Beginning:
Joining NIAT x NRI Vijayawada was honestly terrifying. New environment, new people, and a completely different way of learning — I had no idea what I was walking into.
In the beginning, I was trying to adjust, observe, and understand how things work. But within a few days, I realized that this place was different from what I had imagined about a typical college.
Breaking the Fear and Settling In:
The initial days were a mix of curiosity and hesitation. Being an introvert, I found it difficult to interact and express myself openly.
But the environment at NIAT made it easier to settle in. The friendly nature of instructors and classmates helped me feel comfortable. Slowly, I started opening up, asking questions, and participating in conversations.
A Different Way of Learning:
One of the biggest surprises in my first 30 days was the learning approach. It was not about just listening to lectures—it was about understanding and doing.
From the start, we were introduced to practical learning. Instead of memorizing concepts, we were encouraged to apply them. This made learning more engaging and enjoyable.
It didn’t feel like pressure—it felt like exploration.
First Steps into Technical Learning:
During these 30 days, I began my journey with Python, HTML, and CSS. These subjects were completely new and exciting for me.
- =>I started understanding how programming works through Python
- =>I learned how to structure web pages using HTML
- =>I explored designing and styling using CSS
Even in the early stage, I could see myself creating something, which made me more interested in learning.
Support That Makes a Difference:
What stood out the most during my first month was the support system. Instructors were always approachable and ready to help.
There was no hesitation in asking doubts, no fear of being judged. They guided us patiently and encouraged us to improve step by step.
This kind of support made learning smooth and stress-free.
Beyond the Classroom:
The first 30 days were not just about academics. There were also activities, interactions, and opportunities to explore different interests.
From workshops to club introductions, I got a glimpse of how active and engaging college life is here. It made me realize that learning happens everywhere—not just inside classrooms.
Building the Foundation for Growth:
Those first 30 days were not about achieving big things—they were about building a strong foundation.
I started gaining basic technical knowledge, improving communication, and becoming more confident. Most importantly, I started believing that I can grow and improve.
Final Reflection:
Looking back, my first 30 days at NIAT x NRI were more than just an introduction—they were a transformation.
From being nervous to feeling comfortable, from confusion to clarity, I experienced real change. These days built the base for everything I am learning now.
“At NIAT x NRI, even the first 30 days are enough to show that this is not just a college—it’s a place where your journey of growth truly begins.”
